Mido’s Miso is the first and only Miso company in Southern Oregon, and is processed HERE in Kerby. Lucky YOU!! Truly handcrafted, Mido’s Miso uses traditional Japanese techniques. The process begins by growing miso starter culture called, koji rice, then is mixed with beans and salt to ferment for six months to over years!  Mido’s signature Chickpea Miso is made with Oregon grown beans, and all the products are made with only high quality organic ingredients. 

Founder Midori started her business to share this healthy nourishment and her culture from Japan with this community. This is a BIPOC Women owned business with a small local team who’s mission is to provide traditional Japanese healthy fermented miso, made in a local environment for the local community, which brings us local microbes to sustain our good health. This miso is typically fermented more than a year!

Miso is very versatile, you can enjoy it as it is on veggie sticks, dissolve it into any broth and soup, or mix with a little water and turn it into sauce. The sky is the limit!
