Artemisia Farm

Artemisia Farm returns for our 3rd season at the Cave Junction Farmers Market! We raise plant starts, fruits and veggies based on Regenerative Agriculture principles and believe not only in being good stewards of the land but in leaving the land better than we found it.

While not officially certified "organic" by the Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA), due to financial restrictions, we base our organic guidelines in line with that of ODA.

The vast majority of our farm inputs are sourced locally or produced on the farm by fermenting wild caught ocean fish, as well as foraged and cultivated herbs. We produce our own compost and compost teas. As well, we raise chickens and include them in our Regenerative Ag practices.
We specialize in heirloom and "old world" variety crops but also do grow more modern hybrids. We offer both varieties as plant starts in the spring and as produce in the summer through the fall.
We also have a very well established orchard on our farm that produces the sweetest fruits throughout the summer. It begins with cherries in June then the plums, then pears and peaches and nectarines. Then come the figs that are hurt-your-mouth-good, finished by the Golden Delicious apples and the Granny Smith apples wrapping it up.
It has been a pleasure to serve our community for the past 2 seasons and we very much look forward to continuing this new tradition.
